A lot can happen in a moment of time.

2 Peter 3:8-9 KJV

8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

“A lot can happen in a moment of time”

God inhabits eternity and is not subject to time to get his work done before death, as is the case with us.

Let’s look at God’s value of time compared to that of man.

We view “things” as being holy, such as places, church buildings other structures and artifacts and even people. But with God, time is holy unto him.

The point here is to realize that time is Holy unto God, so it must be as important to us, as it is to him.

You know the story of Jesus’ triumphal entry on a colt.

One moment Jesus rode into town, the people were saying, “Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord, Hosanna, Hosanna, in the highest” and the next moment they yelled, “Crucify Him, Crucify Him”!!

One moment Peter declared his loyalty to Jesus, and the next moment he denied him 3 times...

Think about Mary, who could have convinced this mother on yesterday that today would find her just a few feet away from the torn body of her Son? I can just about here her saying, my, my, my... Say it ain’t so...

A lot can happen in a moment of time...

Things have certainly changed considerably in our day and time.

But the bible declares, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).

My Brothers and Sisters, we must be about our Father’s business. Let us work now while it is day because night cometh when no man can work. (John 9:4)

IT’S. GO. TIME.
